Rooflight Production has a growing list of clients with diverse backgrounds and production requirements. Below are details of those who have previously worked with us. To listen to audio examples from these projects, please visit the 'portfolio' section of the website.

Gathering Voices | www.gatheringvoices.org.uk

A highly innovative arts charity, working primarily with young people and their adult educators/ facilitators, in the areas of music, performing arts, metoring and youth leadership. Rooflight Production was appointed to record four workshop performances and master a CD for the culmination of the Gathering Heritage Voices project, utilising a mobile recording setup to record on-location at Southville Methodist Hall in Bristol.

Saint and the Ghost | www.myspace.com/saintandtheghost

The production of a debut 3-track EP for singer-songwriter Sam Harris exemplifies the collaborative nature of Rooflight's production style. Three songs were chosen from a selection of demo recordings and re-recorded for the EP.

Group 4 | www.group4music.co.uk

A major sound engineering project co-producing Group 4's debut album, 'Fret', with Keith Allen, the band's songwriting force and frontman. Working in a production partnership, Richard & Keith put together the duo's debut album.

Little Big Films | www.littlebigfilms.co.uk

In 2006 Richard was commissioned to provide music for a collection of short films for 11-16 year olds entitled 'Anne Frank and You in Somerset', a project run by Somerset County Council to inspire thought and discussion about issues of racism and intolerance amongst school children. This was a demanding brief requiring sensitive musical accompaniment to thought provoking visual sequences. The music composed for this project can be listened to at www.myspace.com/rooflightmusic

Mantlepiece | www.myspace.com/mantlepieceuk

This intriguing 5-piece needed a high quality EP to take to the industry to get them noticed. It certainly worked - since playing their demo to the right people they were offered slots at both the Glastonbury and Leeds music festival.

Tim Salter | www.myspace.com/timmysalter

Tim's debut album Sunflower, produced by Rooflight Production is an organic-sounding collection of thoughtful songs, touched by elements of Jazz and Beatle-esque 60’s rock.
